Kalua Turkey
Ingredients
2-3 ti leaves, washed well
2 lbs. turkey hindquarter
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
Instructions
1. Place ti leaves and turkey in large pot. Add water to cover turkey.
2. Boil until water reduces to approximately 2 inches; turkey should be well cooked and tender.
3. Strip turkey from bones and discard skin. Shred turkey meat.
4. Add 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke and toss.
