Ingredients
4 oz lean beef
1/2 round onion, minced
1/2 green bell pepper, minced
1 celery stalk, minced
1 garlic clove, minced
4 soft medium-sized tomatoes, cubed
1/4 t dill seed
1/2 c broccoli crowns
1/4 c button mushrooms, pieces and stems
1 t canola oil
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Slice
meat thinly. Parboil broccoli in small amount of water and drain and
cut into 1/8" pieces when cool Set aside. Heat oil in skillet and add
minced garlic, onion, bell pepper and celery. Saute for a few seconds.
Add tomato chunks and then sprinkle dill and pepper, and boil for 1
minute. Add mushroom and cook on low heat for 3 minutes (or until
tomatoes are cooked to a near sauce). Remove from heat and add
broccoli. May serve with rice or pasta. Serves 2.
